Not so long ago boys grew up in dresses and skirts. Today we dividing sharply what men can wear, but we don't do it what women can wear. We call that equality!
Some days ago, and this trend is rising, students all over in USA try to go over gender bender roles in wearing opposite dressing styles. Principals ad school officials don't know how to react.
H&M saw the problem and is going to react like 4 or 5 years ago wen this company sold men's skirts. Some weeks later, and non of this skirts were in stock anymore. I am sure that H&M checked the market.
Check the internet and search "men's skirts" and you'll find millions of websites and blogs, and if you want to read it you'll see that there is a cry for more freedom in kind of dressing by men. They want to get out of their suit-pants stereotyped uniform into more male
comfortable clothes, the skirt, even we call this now "female" clothes which is wrong because in past times men wore it, and women dresses. I personally call that DEMAND!
And what is wrong with skirts for men? Nothing! Nobody can find one single, of course serious, reason on earth why men should not wear a skirt instead a pair of pants.
Men do not have the courage to wear differently, but why? Think about - I know the answer.

Interesting range. Also, apparently kilts are extremely popular in Seattle. Hmm.

The last time I checked there were only 5 comments (NOT CHECKING AGAIN). 3 from epople with male names that were positive or neutral. 1 from a female name that was vehemently against this (why? Women get to wear pants, let the men wear skirts). And one from anonymous that was confusing as hell. "Skirts on men are bad! Unless they're women or transvestites! Then power to 'em!"

I read that comment as well and to me it seems to be suggestion that men in skirts are ridiculous, unless they are transvestites or MTF in which case they are already ridiculous so more power to them.

They're a clothing designer. I haven't heard of them before this story, but apparently they're pretty successful.
