Neutrois, reproduction and vasectomy

Postby ewd » Mon Sep 28, 2009 6:39 pm

I am not exactly neutrois, but this is probably the most appropriate place to post this, if my understanding is correct.

I understand that some neutrois have an aversion to their reproductive capacity as it is based on secondary sexual characteristics....correct me if I am wrong.

Does any one else on this forum have that?

I am tossing up the idea of a vasectomy sort of for the mental effect of knowing I don't have any generative/ reproductive potential as a male anymore....anyone else thought about this?

BTW I am in my 30s and never had any desire for kids etc.

Um... It's possible, but the problem for me is more the external stuff. It's not like there's some label on you that says whether you're infertile or not to remind you. Also, my partner and I plan on having a kid (definitely after top surgery for me), and I don't really feel like that's a terribly female thing. Transmen have had kids even post-transition.

Obviously everyone feels differently- I guess if it'd make you feel better you should go for it.
