Legally-recognized genderless person!

I thought you people might be interested in this. It's an article talking about Norrie May-Welby, the world's first legally-recognized genderless person! Even official documents reflected hir genderlessness by using gender-neutral pronouns. It's milestone, wouldn't you say?

Unfortunately, they later took away hir legal recognition. You guys may have already heard the story. But there's a petition to help Norrie on this site you may want to take a look at.

Yeah, that's been mentioned on here before. While it's upsetting that the status was taken away, it's still a step in the right direction that it was even recognized at all.

Whoops, I suppose I should have searched to see if it had been.
