I'm not religious in the sense of following an established organized faith, but I am open to spirituality, a type of agnosticism. I do find some religious philosophies very interesting, others I find absolutely horrifying, though I do not view any of them as absolute.

This weird KKK group called the Christian Knights came and gave some kind of talk in my town a few months ago. There was a protest. But I didn't involve myself in either. (Not intentionally; I was just busy.)

...if you're asking seriously, more a "God is in everything and everything is God" idea...my capacity for seriousness is extremely low.

What religion(s) do you follow?

I'm pretty much against organized religion, and my own is a bit weird. I think I'm pretty much a wacko atheist- though I have a "special" creation theory involving Christianity. Nobody should let me near religion, we clash.

I'm a gnostic heretic Catholic, basically. That's little 'g', rather than big 'G', so more like the Dark Night of the Soul than any Sophia-style thing. I've been having trouble turning up to church since I've become such a rabble-rouser, but I've been pondering attending the gay church in the north of the city.

The problem is, it's not Catholic, and I've tried attending other masses. Something in me is socialised to take pleasure in the Catholic mass, to feel peace with it, and I just feel unwelcome, uncomfortable, and unhappy in other churches. But I feel that way about myself unless I speak up about things I don't like in my own church, so it's all gotten a bit complex and profoundly unhappy for me. Since I'm a goth, I'm mostly around pagans and atheists, so I often tend to get told how much my religion sucks, though my own moral beliefs prevent me from ever trying to 'convert' anyone else.

I tend to feel essentially on the outer with everyone.

I do not follow a specific religion. I am not very religious but my beliefs are sort of close to the left-hand path, however, none of the religions that fall under it mirror my beliefs.

I somewhat dislike religion because I feel like people end up just believing what someone else tells them instead of thinking and forming their own beliefs. Of course, someone's self-formed beliefs could be similar to a religion which already exists. But I feel like a lot of people just believe what someone tells them, and is kind of scary.

I'm really nothing at the moment, other than Deist. I've never really been religious, as my parents haven't been (until recently when my dad was confirmed Roman Catholic), and I went through a brief stringent of atheism, but I'm just really Deist at the core.

I was actually considering converting to Buddhism after we studied it in my religion class and it all made sense to me, but then again, so did Judaism, Christianity, Islam and Hinduism. So I'm just Deist and that's about it.

I'm assuming this is for a non-trans or non-queer reason? There's churches in my city with trans and gay ministers - of various religions, Christian, Wiccan etc, and I'm sure my city can't be the only place like that. There ARE things they'd frown upon, but I'm pretty sure most people on these forums would also frown on the same things.

Some religious organisations have an official anti-trans stance, but there are others that are fine with it, like Quakers

I'm a Unitarian Universalist. Like rebis said, the UU church doesn't really require any particular beliefs. Folks from a whole range of philosophies and world views are members of the church.

My own worldview leans in the Quaker, Zen, and Pagan traditions. But I'm culturally Christian, in the sense that everyone around me celebrates Christian holidays and I was raised with the stories of the wise men and knowing the words to "shine jesus shine". I feel like all of these things make up who I am equally, & I love the community of the UU Church, so that's pretty much where I hang out.
