So I fail epicly at tucking

I would imagine that that could be very awkward and embarrassing (aside from potentially fatal) for a mtf, androgyne, whatever.

Why would it increase your risk of testicular cancer?

The increased temperature from having your testicles close to your body increases your risks (as well as blunting your fertility). If this isn't too much info, as guys would know, when you get out of a hot shower, your testes have dropped; it is because they try to maintain a temperature somewhat lower than body temp.

Same deal with when your testes retract when you are in a cold pool or something; they are designed to operate at a pretty tight temperature range, screwing with it can cause issues (I work as a medical statistican by the way).

A connected issue is the higher infertility among guys who wear jocks not boxers.

I just thought about it, because I was born with a partially descended testicle (it was close to my body) and I now have a 4 to 10 times cancer risk, which I am thinking of using as an argument for a Dr. to remove it (I am not MtF).

I knew that infertility was a risk but I didn't know that cancer risk could be increased by poor temperature regulation.

I think there is quite a bit of confounding as to whether it is having the epidydimis and vas deferens bent and twisted by having the testes tucked towards the abdomen or temperature per se that causes the cancer risk in partially descended testes so whether it would carry over exactly to tucking is unclear.

So I wouldn't go worrying about it and sorry if I caused that, I was just curious mostly as to whether I was the first person who thought of this; let's face it, most of us "unusually" gendered have far bigger things to worry about a lot of the time.

It will likely be an issue that never gets resolved scientifically, because arranging an experiment to do so would be difficult and cynics in science are unlikely to be interested in a small sample population like transgender people.

Back on this topic of failing etc, do those who tuck tuck at night, or is it more to do with daytime presentation?

NEVER TUCK WITH DUCT TAPE!!!! I did that once because I didn't have any panties, and it took a week for the silver residue to wash off. Not to mention having to shave everything and getting out was OW BITCH DAMMIT FUCK! I am quite content to wear tight briefs and loose pants.

I did notice, though, when I do put everything up there my testes stick out in front funny, like they're not really tucked just moved up even though they're inside and you can still see them (not through clothes or anything, but I rather expected them to be a bit more...gone). I also managed to tuck in such a way that I could no longer cross my legs w/o excruciating pain, so I think I was doing something wrong, even though I followed the guide (minus the panties, plus duct tape, which I repeat: never, ever do).

Is it not normal for the testes to stick out in front a little when you put everything up there? I have the same experience, and also tend to find that crossing my legs is pretty uncomfortable to fairly painful when I'm tucked. Am I doing something wrong? (This is using tight bike shorts in place of panties, and not using tape at all. I've tried it with medical tape, but even if everything down there is shaved, I can't get it to stick right.)

Maybe it is normal, and I'm just overthinking it. I was actually hoping for someone to say "oh, mine too", it's less embarrassing that way.

Crossing my legs is only uncomfortable when I'm tucked, it rather tends to be my default position otherwise.

The tucked peas are suppose to give an illusion of a vagina.

Crossing my legs doesn't hurt when tucked.

I'm confused as to how they can give that illusion, given they are underneath where my pubic hair triangle is when I have pubic hair. This sort of makes me wonder if I'm tucking wrong if they're there, though I don't really see how they could be any lower without just being inside the scrotum as usual.

Twisted testicle + inept urologist's misdiagnoses + emergency surgery after getting second opinion from a good doc = 1 testicle, which they sewed to the inside of the scrotum so it cannot twist.

Thank you, that's much clearer.

Something important to point out. If you sleep tucked, you can sometimes squish things as you roll, waking yourself up in spine twisting pain.

I can't keep things tucked for some reason. I need to get some medical tape and try.

So many different ways, so many different concerns. OK, so I can honestly say that I'm the old broad on this block   and will tell you that after more than 20+ years of tucking, it actually becomes second nature for your body to adapt. If this might help (and I hope it may), I will describe the method that I found to work for me.

I tried that taping method a while back and found out the hard way what it involves and the results. It doesn't matter if it's duct tape or medical grade, after a while you could end up with a rash that isn't very comfortable. I also tried that method where I held myself in place before pulling up my panties. Most of the time, either I couldn't get my hand out of the way enough for this to be effective all the time or trying to keep my dress up while pulling up my panties one handed was a bit of a juggling act. What I did find to work is that once my undies were up, simply reaching in and placing everything in place seemed more successful. And by the way, this works with hi-cuts, bikini style as well as boy shorts. Just remember to make sure that the material in the crotch area is wide enough to allow for coverage (string bikinis and thongs don't always provide enough).

Ok so on the comfort. In the beginning, yes it was somewhat uncomfortable for me. The feeling of being squished was almost always present. Even semi erections was a problem in the beginning. Just remember that the mind controls all body functions and that with time the body starts compensating. In the beginning, though most don't want to admit it, just the sensations of something other than rough cotton underwear has a somewhat exotic and sexually charged sensation. Over time, the mind adapts to the body structure and it almost becomes natural to be in this position. I have to admit that when I   am swinging free so to speak, it becomes somewhat uncomfortable for me.

firstly = sorry for bumping a kinda old thread.

I just wanted to ask,
I find that I can tuck comfortably, and keep tucked, but that after say, about 30 minutes, everything down there becomes incredibly itchy, so much to the point that I cannot concentrate on anything.
The only solution I've found so far is to un-tuck for a while.

So I just wondered if anyone else had found this, or had any ideas of a better solution.
Thanks ^ ^
