My niece turned 5 today. That was a happy.

An', I remembered ('cause of BeckyBoiGrrl) that I got the best reception o' anyone in my Social Psych class...doin' a presentation on "Alternate Concepts of Self"...including genderqueer.

Not today, but yesterday, I met a bunch of new people (one of which was quite possibly the most bizarre person I've ever known), solidified friendships with new-ish people, made some beats that I'm proud of, and most importantly, had a very nice few hours with an incredibly cute girl. Basically she was on molly and decided that I was her girlfriend, which lead to cuddling and kissing until her boyfriend got jealous (after giving us permission when this all started). So while it's created some minor level drama that remains somewhat unresolved, I still had a fabulous time. And worst case scenario, my unlucky streak has been broken and I have happy memories and a cute friend.

It's kinda grey and chilly today, so I'm just hanging out at my mom's, after having hung out with a couple friends earlier.

I went to a trans forum today and it wasn't as bad as I was worrying it would be! I mean, I didn't love it, but definitely am glad I went.

What made me happy? Wool roving on sale at Hobby Lobby. I could actually manage to afford it on my shoestring budget! New wool dreadfalls for me! Never made wool ones though. Only kanekalon.

Another thing that made me happy: the dollar shop had in the toy section Tinker Bell clickables for the Pixie Hollow MMO. My roommate\best friend plays it hardcore. These things are usually $7 at the toystore, but they were $1 there. I bought some to hide for Yule for her.

I'm more than 500 words ahead on my NaNo. Considering I've been getting just past what's needed so far that's great! It's almost an extra 33% for today.

I just got a crew cut! And it had pretty much exactly the effect I wanted; what with my long eyelashes it does (at least to me) make me look more feminine. Yay!
