Even though I'm not really nonbinary in terms of identity, I do dress very androgynously.
Usually I wear zip off boys cargos and standard zip off baggy pants (
Similar to this) and relatively androgynous feminine t-shirts (
Like this one) and occasionally feminine tops (
Like this or
Like this one). I also often wear androgynous unisex band t-shirts and whatnot (
like in this old pre transition photo). Even my shoes tend to be androgynous or masculine hiking boots.
Even with the slightly lower neckline in the more feminine tops I linked to, I still won't let a neckline go low enough to show cleavage. It doesn't really fit me or my style. I also tend to avoid long sleeve shirts and tend to just wear hoodies, fleece jacket esk thingies and jackets over my short sleeved shirts in layers to help with the cold.
You can also commonly find me wearing women tailored button down shirts of a more formal nature when I'm in a professional or less causal environment (usually like
this but generally black or a darker color, and without any patterns).
I often wear my hair up in a sort semi loose mid bun often with hair chopsticks or hair spikes put through the bun in some pattern or orientation. (Some examples of a mid bun with chopsticks
here and
here). Generally the chopsticks are really simple and are either designed and painted sticks of wood or are a plastic stick.
I don't have dangly bits on the tops of them although sometimes I'll have a tiny decoration piece on the top that sits there instead of dangling.
My coat is a sort of vintage esk, military esk green peat coat. It's mildly female tailored so it looks ridiculously good on me. I don't have any pictures currently and I couldn't find anything similar online. So that's pretty much my style updated for the current time.
I also have a fedora. ^.^ It's adorable on me.
Life is a lot more interesting then we give it credit for.
