I know my avatar is small, but does anybody know the style of skirt that she's wearing? I know next to nothing about women's clothing, and I'd like to find one like that. One that sort of puffs out a bit, but not too much, and one that is not too short. I don't wanna look like a hooker.

Small picture, but to me it looks like mostly like a pleated miniskirt. Then again it might as well be a bubble skirt like EJA said.

From looking up those terms, it looks more like a pleated miniskirt.. but those are too short for my taste (then again, I wouldn't really know since I've never tried one on)... wouldn't mind one just a tad longer, but I suppose it would just take a bit of searching.

Well there are longer pleated skirts also if it's the style that you like.

Plenty of knee-length pleated skirts out there. You can find them in pretty much any length.

Just curious, how heavy are womens pleated skirts, and how stiff are they usually? I know my kilts move a decent amount, and I can really only feel the weight of them where they snap. (I have 2 utilikilts and an X-kilt) Also, what size should I start arouund if I were to get a women's skirt? My kilt size is 38x23.5

Usually women's skirts are a lot lighter and softer than the typical kilt.

Pleated skirts are just that, skirts with pleats in them. They'll come in any number of materials and patterns and they're popular for uniforms.

I did a quick search on Amazon and came up with a plain knee-length pleated skirt.

Every one have good ideas and sharing...
I also like to wear skirts and trousers on weekends with t-shirt.I wear shorts with t-shirts during running and cycling. I also have a good collection of bags and wallets.

While most skirts are lighter, you can certainly do what many women do and wear shorts underneath.

That is a cute skirt. It certainly is pleated so if you're looking for one similar you can ask for that or shop for it online. It would look great with a match pair of heels. Have you ever tried shoemall for shoes? As we know, matching a skirt and shoes is quite important.
