Resources for teachers?

Postby Ryles » Tue Oct 19, 2010 5:18 pm

Does anyone know any good resources for teachers about trans students? I know I've seen websites about it, but I can't find any right now.

I posted a link in the general news thread about a local-ish teacher who is making changes in a grade school.
Also, extend your search to other countries. Some of their innovations are very inspiring.
In addition, I am currently working on a gender-inclusive language training guide for organizations. It answers questions, offers suggestions, has activities. It isn't finished yet though. After I will likely be creating a gender-inclusive spaces training guide. Those will be linked to the www.lotusrisingproject.org when finished. Our website is about to get an upgrade. If the url changes I'll update here.

Speaking of which, I am looking for help converting the guide into other formats including those more accessible to people who are alter-abled, and in apple, windows, and android app format. Dunno where to post a request for assistance around here...
